'This is your victory'

by: mariochampion

Wed Nov 05, 2008 at 10:00:16 AM CST

A brilliant speech capping a brilliant campaign, here is President-Elect Barack Obama's Victory Speech!

Hello, Chicago.

If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible, who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time, who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer.

It's the answer told by lines that stretched around schools and churches in numbers this nation has never seen, by people who waited three hours and four hours, many for the first time in their lives, because they believed that this time must be different, that their voices could be that difference.

It's the answer spoken by young and old, rich and poor, Democrat and Republican, black, white, Hispanic, Asian, Native American, gay, straight, disabled and not disabled. Americans who sent a message to the world that we have never been just a collection of individuals or a collection of red states and blue states.

We are, and always will be, the United States of America.

Vote Obama. Vote Blue. Video.

by: fishman

Mon Nov 03, 2008 at 14:31:47 PM CST

Hey Everyone:

This is something I just created in association with DownBallotBlue.com. It's a little video that reminds you to vote Obama and Democrat all the way (as much as you can and especially in Texas-geez). Don't worry-it won't bore you to death! Even if you are Republican or Undecided you may still enjoy it. Ron Paul fans may even enjoy it. This is a little late in the game, I know, but there are still plenty of people who haven't participated in early voting. So pass it along and make it happen on Tuesday!
